Ken Kosowick is a Canadian composer, sound designer, and audio engineer who specializes in songwriting and creating unique emotional scores. His recent work has garnered acclaim, including Best Original Score at the Pembina Art & Film Festival for the short film, Lost Woods, and his musical work on The Last Cigarette, which won Best Local Short Film at the Mosquers' Film Festival.

Most recently, he composed and provided audio post-production for the TELUS Storyhive film Bismillah, as well as the audio post-production for the Edmonton-based short film Do You Think I’m Evil?

Originally from Salmon Arm, BC, Ken developed a passion for music at a young age, forming the alternative rock band Crown The Guilty before releasing solo music under the name Ken Kosmic. He holds a combined degree in Music and Computer Science (B.Sc.) from the University of Victoria, where he founded and led the UVic Live Music Club—a group dedicated to fostering a vibrant music community in Victoria through open mics, jam sessions, and concerts.

After university, Ken worked as an audio software developer at TC Helicon, contributing to vocal harmonizers and audio streaming devices for musicians and gamers.

In the winter of 2025, his own film TAZ (The Band) was featured in the Best of the Fest lineup at the International Festival of Winter Cinema. Through this experience, he realized the crucial role music and sound play in creating emotional connection with an audience. He now focuses on composition and audio post-production, blending his technical expertise with his love for storytelling.
